This is not the McDonald’s that is opened for 24 hours in the highway, but this is the store where you can go with some specific timings.

Stock Market Timings in India
Trading within the securities market happens all the weekdays except the weekends that’s on Saturday and Sunday and therefore also on the holidays that are mentioned by the National Stock exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
These are the days on which the trading or the investment happens in the stock market.
All the Retail investors or traders have to be compelled to do their dealing or the trading through the brokerage agency between 9:15 A.M to 3:30 P.M on the weekdays.
Most of the investors will do the trading or buying/selling the actual stocks in India on the main stock exchanges that is the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Timings of the securities market is that the same in each the exchanges.
The trading timing period for the commodity market on (MCX) is between 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM from Monday to Friday.
The normal trading timings for the (NCDEX) market that’s on soft commodities is between from 10:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M from Monday to Friday.
Further, there’s a division of the timings of the securities market into 3 sessions:
1. Normal Session
2. Pre-Opening Session
3. Pre-Closing Session
Let’s discuss briefly regarding these stock market timings sessions:
1. Pre-opening Session
The period of time is for the pre-opening session is between 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM and it’s once more divided into 3 sub-sessions.
A) 9:00 AM to 9:08 AM
This period is for putting the orders.
In this amount of time you’ll be able to place the order for either for buy or sell of stocks.
The trader or the investor will modify or cancel his orders during this amount of time.
No orders will be placed within the amount of eight minutes time period throughout the pre-opening session.
B) 9:08 AM to 9:12 AM
This time phase is helpful for the determination of the value of the protection.
The price matching principle is completed with the corresponding of demand and supply.
In this additional, you cannot modify or cancel the buy/sell order throughout the time.
C) 9:12 AM to 9:15 AM
This amount of your time is employed as a buffer period.
This is used for the graceful translation of the pre-opening session to the conventional session.
2. Normal Session
Normal session starts from 9:15 AM to 3:30 AM and all the transactions that is being that’s created throughout this time period follows the bilateral order matching system.
For the value determination, it’s done through the demand and supply forces.
The bilateral order matching system is volatile, which has the market fluctuations that are ultimately a mirrored image of the assets costs.
The Pre-opening session was began to lead of the volatility of the multi-order system.
3. Post-closing Session
The post-closing session starts at 3:30 PM.
This is additional classified into 2 sub-headings:
A) 3:30 PM to 3:40 PM
This time is employed for the calculation of the closing costs.
The weighted average of the costs is employed for calculation.
For calculating the closing costs of the indices that you’ll be able to directly take it from the costs of the listed assets that are considered.
B) 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM
This period of time is employed for the post-closing session from 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM.
At the closing costs, if the orders are placed for a buy or sell of the stocks within the post-closing session and if the buyers/sellers are accessible then the trade are going to be confirmed at the closing costs.
Muhurat Trading
The Indian securities market are closed for doing the transactions for Diwali.
However, there’s a one-hour trading session conducted from 5:30 PM to 6:40 Pm as this era is conducted as auspicious.
